Old Railroad

Continuing from my earlier posts, as I drove back down the Provo Canyon after visiting Deer Creek Reservoir I saw an interesting looking turnout and pulled off. It was the town (or former town) of Vivian, UT. The main attraction for me was an old railroad station and the presence of some abandoned looking railroad cars and equipment. There is something about old railroads and monochrome film that is almost magical for me! They just seem to go together perfectly!

I shot a roll of Tri-X, my all time favorite. But it’s getting harder and harder to find.
